Post 1: Introduction

Myfavorite book is Eragon because itcombined description, action, and a hint of mystery to make a book that I could not put down.

I prefer to read Fantasy and Science Fiction books.

Iam currently reading the book called OneDead Spy by Nathan Hale (the author, not the spy). The book picks off whenNathan Hale (the spy this time not the author) is about to be hanged in frontof a crowd of people. But, when the crowd finds out that the person beinghanged is not the arsonist who started a fire earlier in the week they allleave and go home. While waiting for the rope to arrive the hangman and Hale(Again, the spy. I will be referring to the spy until I say I am not) discusswhat his last words will be. When Hale utters the historic phrase “I regret that I have only have but one lifeto give for my country…” Suddenly a giant United States of America historybook comes down and eats Hale with one gulp. Not a moment later the historybook rises up and spits Hale out and then flies away. Nathan Hale then explainsthat his last words were so memorable that they were put in the history bookforever. And in turn for his donation he had seen the entire history of America.He then continues to explain to a British official and the hangman how therevolutionary war began and how it would end. In the next book Nathan Haleexplains the course of the Civil war.
